We'll be spending New Years Eve in London with a mix of food, drink, fireworks & music. Our plan is to try and see see the Fireworks over the Thames from Waterloo Bridge, which we believe overall is the best location taking into account safety, transport links, etc.
Our New Years Eve plans will be in 3 parts
1) Firstly to meet up from 6pm onwards for drinks and food at Auberge Bar which serves a range of food from French Cuisine to Hamburgers, Steak, Fish, etc As well as serving a range of beers and wine.
Nearest tube:
* Waterloo Station (0.3 km)
* Southwark Tube Station (0.3 km)
2) Then for those wishing to see the Fireworks we will walk up along Waterloo Road and on to Waterloo Bridge. (Please be sure to bring very warm clothing including hats, gloves and scarves as it is extremely cold at night - also bringing snacks and soft drinks are a good idea)
3) After the fireworks the final location is Belushi's Bar near London Bridge / Borough Tube Station - where there will be more drinks and an underground dance floor. (please note you need a ticket to get into Belushi's on NYE - paying at the door may be possible - but we can't guarantee entry without a ticket)

- 6:00pm to 9:00pm - Auberge Bar (We may leave Auberge earlier if the places on the bridge fill up early)
- 9:00pm to 00:15am - Waterloo Bridge - walk from Auberge to Waterloo Bridge to get a spot from which to see the fireworks
- 00:15am to 4:00am - Belushi's Bar London Bridge (Tickets are £5 online - click here) You do need to either pay at the door or buy a ticket online to get into Belushi's on New Year's Eve - tickets are £5 in advance and probably more on the night (please note we cannot say if you will be able to get in or not without a ticket on NYE)
